1. Acceptance

By using FastestTranscriptions API, you agree to these terms. You must be 16+ to use the service.

2. Service Description

We provide a speech-to-text transcription API with:

  • REST API endpoint for audio transcription
  • Prepaid hour-based billing
  • Dashboard for API key management
  • Usage analytics and logs

Hours never expire. Non-transferable between accounts.

4. Refund Policy

See our Refund Policy. All sales are final.

5. Acceptable Use

You MAY:

  • Integrate with your applications
  • Process voice notes, dictation, accessibility content
  • Build commercial products using our API
  • Use for personal projects

You MAY NOT:

  • Process illegal content
  • Transcribe audio without consent of speakers
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer our systems
  • Resell API access directly
  • Exceed rate limits (100 req/min) without approval
  • Use for surveillance without legal basis

6. Rate Limits

7. API Keys

  • Keep your API keys secure
  • Don't share keys publicly (e.g., in client-side code)
  • Rotate keys if compromised
  • We may revoke keys for abuse

8. Data & Privacy

See our Privacy Policy. Audio deleted after 30 days. Account deletion removes all data within 7 days.

9. Service Availability

We aim for 99.5% uptime but don't guarantee 100%.

10. Account Termination

You may close your account anytime. We may terminate for violations or abuse.

11. Disclaimers

Service provided "as is". AI transcription is not perfect. Review transcripts for critical use.

12. Limitation of Liability

Liability limited to amount paid in last 12 months. No liability for indirect damages.
